Up Up & Away

Hi,  a friend asked for a birthday card for a 10 year old girl, so I wanted to give her a a couple of choices to choose from which I always like to do, as we all have different tastes in cards.  Well one of them was this really quick card using the Up, Up & Away stamp set.

The colours I used were Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight, Bashful Blue and Whisper White.  It really is just a quick and simple card.

She ended picking one of the Ice-cream cone cards I showed in a previous post, but someone else liked this one.

Valentine's Swap

Hi,  Today's post is on a card I did for a friend Tricia for a swap.  We both went to the Eureka's Team Day and she did swaps but I didn't.  She however did do me a swap. So I thought I should make something and send it to her.  I know she is had a Valentine's Class Thursday so I did something based around that.  I don't have any Stamp sets that are Valentine's or even the heart punches (Only the small heart, I borrowed the others for the Wedding Acceptance Cards) but I do have Up, Up and Away stamp set and in that is a sentiment which I think is fitting.

This is my swap.

I hope she likes it and had a good Class, I know she puts a lot of effort into them.
